For Sterling Central apartments near UCF, March was a busy month and that didn’t change for April. Continuing their community service efforts, Sterling Central sponsored I.D.E.A.S’ Shackathon team. Shackathon is an annual event sponsored by UCF Habitat for Humanity for the purpose of fundraising (all proceeds go to the organization. UCF organizations sign up to build a shack made out of recyclable material representing their cause and the winner is based on votes. The Sterling Central sponsored team won 1st place overall and and for the second year in a row, 1st place fan favorite.

As part of their ongoing community service efforts, Sterling Central’s dedicated staff volunteered for the Feeding Childing Everywhere charity. Feeding Children Everywhere is a social charity that empowers and mobilizes people to assemble healthy meals for hungry children. Our area of focus was packaging and shipping meals for low income K-12 students in the Central Florida Public School System .

It’s not only Sterling Central’s employees, the entire network of Sterling off campus housing properties  make sure that it employs people who are active in their communities and strive to make the world a better, greener place.
